Hi! My name is Amanda Parker. I have been employed at MSD for 16 years and have been the Outreach Coordinator since 2010. I am married to Selby Parker and we have two beautiful children who are both excellent athletes. I graduated from Purvis High School in 1992, the University of Southern Mississippi in 1998 and finally Lamar University in 2011 where I received my Masters in Deaf Education/Deaf Studies. I have a tremendous amount of expertise in the area of Deaf Education on a personal level as well as a professional level.
One of my favorite quotes is: " To often we give children answers to remember, rather than problems to solve." - Roger Lewin
